The days since New Years Eve have not been great in reality. Jason is still waiting to hear from work about a settlement figure. We are still receiving funny phone calls, having to deal with the Police on an almost daily basis and both of us really just need a break. Still at least The Police are finally taking notice!
I suppose now it is just a case of collating all the information together. As they said to me, they need to find a pattern in the information we are providing and as soon as they have, they can act.
Lets hope they act soon, and we can put all this rubbish to bed!
Guilty 3 Jan 16
This is the one thing I am not going to miss about Southampton when I leave. The weekend I saw Laura, was much like any other. Each and everyone of us were accused. tried and found guilty of something, anything, so others could detract from their own guilty secrets. It is part of the course here in Southampton. Always a drama, problem and row, normally made up in the minds of others!
New Years Eve
New Years Eve was a quiet affair for us here at Capri. Jamie turned up at god knows what time in the morning looking worse for wear, and our Lee followed shortly afterwards. Like most of us these days he literally could not be bothered to stay in Southampton's only gay club, any longer than he had too.
To be honest I haven't been down The Edge in ages, not since someone started to blackmail Jason. After that happened it became a difficult time for all of us, and we have just tried to avoid everyone to do with that time. To be honest gay people can be the worst, where 'trouble' is concerned
Laura Prince 2-3 Jan16
Now this is a weird one, not quite sure how to describe what happened here but I'll give it ago.
On the weekend, Laura Prince, a girl I have known for many years, turned up on my doorstep. She asked me to come and 'explain' something to a friend,
Without going in to too much detail, it turns out that everyone in Southampton knows each other, a little too much. Also, it has to be said, if you are going to cheat on a partner, do make sure, it is with someone you don't know, because, that is one secret you will never keep here in Southampton.
As per usual in these circumstances, I learned things about people I would rather not know, but that is just part of the course
It was just like old times having Laura over, as if she had never gone away. She hasn't changed much, in all the years I've known her and the strangest thing for me, was knowing
It was great seeing Laura, just before we leave for Spain, although, it did seem rather odd, to see her after all this time. Like most things and people in this small city, there does seem to be a connection, that exists between everyone we know.
Jack & Natalee
It was great to see Jack and Natalee over Christmas and New Year. Sorry I wasn't too well. Hopefully next time we see each other, things will be very different. Much Love x
Even now, as we relax, heading towards the final countdown, she continues to support both of us. We took SJ out for dinner yesterday at the White Swan in Mansbridge. Jason and I had eaten very little recently anyway, so it was good to sit down and relax, have a few beers and some decent food.
SJ popped over tonight, just to make sure we are OK, so Chris cooked some dinner. We watched some TV and just chilled.
Jason and myself rarely relax these days and we appreciate evenings like this. I have to say, we don't actually feel relaxed in that many peoples company, although we always do around SJ!
Kirsty and Imogen 5 Jan
Popped in to see Kirsty and Baby Imogen yesterday. We are not going to see a lot of them in future, so we are certainly going to try and do our best to see as much of them both as we can.
It was the first time we saw Kirsty's new flat, also and it is actually really nice and cosy for the two of them. Hopefully they will both come out and see us, when we move to the continent, if not I know they will both keep in contact.
Peace and Love Always!
